I am about to embark on an incredible journey. I am going to walk from San Jose to San Francisco in 3 days! This is for the Avon 3-day Breast Cancer Walk and Fundraiser.

This is the biggest event I have ever been involved in and one I feel very passionate about. The money raised from this event will be used for research and possibly finding a cure for this horrific disease.

I have started training for this event that will be held in July by walking as often as possible along the American River Bike Trail and around my neighborhood. Although this journey is still some time off, I need to start asking all the people I know to help me reach my goal and participate in this journey with me.

I am proud to be a member of "Team Freedom" which consists of 6 other women. Our team alone will raise over $13,500 for breast cancer research.
